We generally shoot over 35K photos for free for the kids who come from all over the world to play. This year I found some great organ music from Nancy Bea Hefley who was the Los Angeles Dodgers organist for years. Thank you Nancy....These are action shots taken from 1st and 3rd base.

Delta Water Skiing

The other day I put up a water skiing video of my buddy Mark Butler. He and I have water skied together forever. He is way better than me but in my defense I am older. I found this one of me when I was 60 years old back in 2000. Hope you enjoy it....

It’s kinda sad that it’s no longer flying anymore in 2024
Ikr
Anyone know the displacement of the 930 engines
I pulled this up randomly today. Today is October 5th 2023.
I love that engine sound! This blimp was equipped with Porsche engines? The sound is the same of the "La Serenisima" blimp. It flies over Buenos Aires and other cities from Argentina in 1995 and 1996. Good video! Greetings!
thank you
That’s gotta be the best way to see that once great city. At least you don’t have to worry about stepping on any human feces on the sidewalk !
That hum of those twin Porsche engines...
Really great. Tq for posting. (4/Oct/2022-7:55pm🇦🇺EST)
you are welcome, it was a fun ride...
Yes, a Skyship 500, just like the one used as Max Zorin’s airship in “A View to a Kill,” that James Bond took a fun ride over San Francisco, and the Golden Gate, on by hanging onto the mooring rope. I love that engine sound.
"Wonder - Barr" ; see through - prop ! 😎 Bryan. 💕
I flew in goodyear blimp, a lot louder than a skyship lol
Great skiing even at your age! Lol
Wow!! Very nice
People still do this? Soooo 1979.
Thank you Dick for posting this video of Mark, son I am so proud of you, you still got it. Love you
Ann said Thank you for posting this of Mark.
Mark I am so proud of you! Love you mom
Oh look at you. 😆 you go on with your bad self. Looking good there Mr Butler!
This is so cool
I love this!! 30 years in 4 minutes!! Amazing photos!
air ships are the best craft
Size matters! Build them bigger and retake the skys!
Is that a same kind of blimp from "A view to a Kill"? I wonder how much would it cost to buy one?
At one time when I was doing some work for the Pacific Missile Range some folks wanted to sell us the Blimp for 8 Miillion, long time ago....
"MORE.....MORE POWER!"
'This'll hurt him more than me!'
I hear the sound, all I see is Zorin laughing....
Did you guys see the Goodyear blimp at 1:54 ?
Yep of course
Yes definitely!
Is this an old video? That guy had a throw away camera
I filmed it in 1999. I never noticed the other camera but I shot video and 35mm....
I remember seeing these airships at Floyd Bennett Field in New York.
I kinda want them to ram each other.
Beautiful sound a porsche 930 very cool
She would be 13 now!.
Max Zorin is off to destroy silicon valley.
And all attributed to natural causes.
@@careycarson7629 HA ha............ exactly
Wow, how often do you get to ride the Fujifilm blimp... then watch the Goodyear blimp, FROM the Fujifilm blimp!? LOL XD
Who is Hugh Galyean?
He is a retired Florida State Trooper and a retired FBI agent who lives in the East Bay of california. He produced a CD of Christian songs and teaches bible classes at church. I golf with him. great guy.
I grew up in Oakland Ca in the 80's and I remember the Fuji Film Blimp flying over my House and the Goodyear one to. I heard this was the same blimp used in the James Bond movie View to a Kill
That's great! Im thinking it would be good business for a "flying blimp hotel" that would make a few days' cruises in the air. Not many rooms of course, I suppose at most 4 people + captain. But they would have to be *very* rich to afford it. It would cost something like $30,000 a day or something.
Dimitris Tripakis there's some pretty huge designs being tested Lockheed Martin has 2 one with a cargo payload of 250tons and another with 500tons. Then there's also the aeroscraft which I believe was supposed to have a payload of 400tons but a hangar roof collapsed and it's being redesigned. Designs like these could be like floating casinos I hope testing goes well I think it would be awesome to go on a cruise across America in the sky. Plus with modern avionics and turboprop/fan engines they can move fast enough to avoid bad weather or push through a headwind.
1:50 I never seen the Goodyear blimp fly close or was sharing the air with the Fuji blimp, what a rare sight to be remembered.
i saw this blimp in a book :P i did same kind of blimp
I would love to fly in one of those :)
it was fun, too bad you can only ride now.
cool
skip to 1:50 to see the goodyear blimp
Hi Anna.... I am sure she will be happy to hear that you got to meet her. She is a wonderful lady. I am Dick Jones and I help her with her books, not just the "Little Light shines bright" but also "Train of Lights". take care. dick jones
I met Juliette Goodrich today and I got an autograph from her :) she came to my church :)
you should have kicked the pilot out of the controls and took the blimp into the golden gate bridge like a view to a kill 007 in 1985
I think this was a special thing.... there is a blimp flying around the bay area and you should be able to find them on google, but I doubt that they would allow anyone to fly. You could probably only be a passenger. Let me know if it all works out. dick
"A View To A Kill"?
In response to "why do we love flying?" etc. For me, it is no stop signs, sort of no speed limits, great views, feeling special because not everyone can get a license etc. Airships are nice because they are slow and you can get up and walk around and sight see and it is slow enough to really enjoy the view. Flying an airship is more like steering a balloon through the sky. Everything is much slower because you are moving slower. Also there is value in being able to "hover" in one spot. Dick
This particular blimp is not around anymore.... I do see one flying around the bay area and I hear that you can buy tickets for a ride. Do a google search for blimp ride and you might find it. good luck. dick
Where can I get tickets? I have a few years left. It's one thing I left to do.
It is a raised Nustrini canopy.
Beautiful Falco! Is that the Nustrini canopy or the raised Nustrini canopy?
HA HA HA HA Mr. Roger's was flying a blimp.
